The Arkonia Spectre Remote Video Surveillance System is designed for close support and perimeter protection. Comprising of easy-to-conceal video cameras (Scouts), connected to 'SMART' PIRs. The Scouts remain dormant until activated by the PIR which is triggered by movement. Upon activation the camera automatically transmits a video signal to the base station. The video imagery is automatically displayed and recorded as well as recording the date, time and sensor ident. Simultaneous alarms are also triggered which are transmitted from the base station via a VHF radio link to pagers which are carried by the support team.
