A Rapidly Deployable system used for close and wide area surveillance for protection of personnel and perimeter awareness.
The Arkonia rapid deployment Omega system is design for close personnel and perimeter protection. The system has three wide area and six easy to conceal local area cameras (Scouts) that are activated by movement using the Arkonia 'SMART' PIR sensors.
If a Scout is activated an alarm will sound at the base station and 15 seconds of video image will be transmitted to the screen, with the scout's identification number, time, date and pre-configured on screen message. Simultaneously, a pager alert will be sent to all of the systems pagers which will be carried by the protection team or security section.
If required the selected scouts can be configured to trigger selected pagers. Received transmissions from the wide area camera are shown on the remaining quadrants, the operator can remotely pan to the area of alarm and provide the reaction team with an appraisal of the situation prior to their arrival. The system also facilitates personnel panic alarm transmitters.
