The Guardian system is designed to operate as a passive asset protection system. Deployed and set up in a matter of minutes it is light enough to be carried in a manpack or aircraft cockpit.
The Guardian asset protection system is a PIR detection system which employs programmable digital processing techniques. A series of smart PIRs are used to emcompass an area of protection. Each smart PIR is capable of adjusting to its surroundings and working through the most adverse weather conditions. This is achieved by having the ability to adjust the sensitivity levels to reflect the conditions which the system is operating within.
On detecting the target the PIR will trigger a transmitter which in turn will transmit an alarm message to a pager carried by security guard(s). The paging message displays the direction of the target movements and the date/time.
