The ARK-7078-2 HF Antenna Selector Unit provides the interface between three HF transceivers, three receive antenna ports and three antenna tuning units in the frequency range 1.5MHz to 30MHz. The equipment permits each transceiver to select between its own dedicated receive antenna port, and any one of the three antenna tuning unit ports, although only a single transceiver may access the same antenna tuning unit.
The antenna allocation for each receiver can be programmed via the serial remote control interface to the unit, and in the event of loss of remote control, the default configuration is set-up, such that one of the transceiver ports is connected to the receive antenna port and the remaining two transceivers are connected to transmit antennas via the ATUs.
