The Arkonia Multi-Beam High Frequency Receiving System (PUSHER), is designed to provide high quality, low noise RF signals arriving over a full 360º of azimuth. Each operator can select any of the high-gain beams or electronically scan all 24 to establish the optimum working beam for a particular signal direction.
The ARK1120 is a general purpose compact system providing 24 independent, simultaneously available, fixed direction beams to give directional reception from all azimuths over the band 1.5-30MHz (with optional extensions for lower and higher frequency operation).
PUSHER is designed as a substitute for rhombic aerial farms and occupies only 10% of the area they require. PUSHER is currently operating in many locations around the world, providing a service that would otherwise require a large antenna "farm" consisting of twenty-four individual rhombic antennas.
